ResponderStrong is pleased to be starting another year in service of responders and their families. For more information about our progress and projects, please see our 2018 Annual Report.
Status Code 4, Inc (SC4i) is producing a series of mini-documentaries on the ways in which responders inadvertently bring trauma home and what that looks like. Stories Without Borders has masterfully filmed and edited the vignettes. ResponderStrong and other partners are proud to support this project. SC4i is making these materials available to any entity that wishes to use them to increase awareness and spark conversation. https://www.sc4i.org/lifelines
Thank you to the Intermountain Center for Disaster Preparedness for inviting RepsonderStrong to present on the mental wellness challenges of emergency response and the steps we are taking to provide better supports.
We have been holding our “large group” ResponderStrong meetings quarterly to connect and keep everyone up to date with our progress. Effective immediately, we are transitioning these meetings to a biannual schedule. The next meeting will be February 8 from 0900-1200 at South Metro Fire Rescue, 9195 E. Mineral Ave, Centennial 80112. We plan to have remote access for this meeting. If you have any questions, please contact us. Thank you!
