ResponderStrong awards 45 Clinician scholarships

/

ResponderStrong, in partnership with Lexipol, has awarded scholarships to 45 mental health clinicians for Lexipol’s Emergency Responder and Public Safety Certified Clinician program. This partnership supports our mission to enhance mental health resources for emergency responders, including healthcare workers, as well as their families.

Responders and healthcare workers face unique occupational stressors, traumatic events, and high-risk situations that can significantly impact their well-being. Culturally competent and well-trained clinicians are essential for providing the specialized support these professionals and their families need.

Lexipol’s clinician training equips mental health professionals with the knowledge, tools, and credentials necessary to effectively serve public safety personnel. This partnership ensures that clinicians are prepared to offer evidence-based, trauma-informed care while adhering to the highest standards of ethical practice.

Lexipol provides public safety and local government with solutions that combine the impact of information with the power of technology. We serve more than 2 million first responders and local government officials with policies, training, wellness resources, grant assistance, and news and analysis.

ResponderStrong has supported the mental health and overall well-being of Emergency Responders, including Healthcare Workers, and their families. Working across branch boundaries to represent all who work in Emergency Response, we partner with our allies: researchers, clinicians, educators, foundations, and other non-profits to better support our own.
